Ward Sokoloski Named Chief Operations Officer

Forj Medical, a CDMO with deep expertise in system and component design, microelectronics, precision molding, and automation, has appointed Ward Sokoloski as chief operations officer (COO). Sokoloski will lead Forj Medical’s global operational strategy and execution, overseeing quality, operations, design, and engineering, with responsibility for performance across the company’s footprint, which consists of its St. Paul headquarters facilities and established sites in Singapore, Indonesia, and Costa Rica. Sokoloski’s role at Forj began in Dec. 2025.

“As a unified CDMO, operational integration and scale are fundamental to how we serve customers worldwide,” said Jeremy Maniak, CEO of Forj Medical. “Ward is a proven, solutions-focused leader with deep expertise in medical manufacturing, integrations of companies, and global site leadership. He brings the operational rigor and people-first leadership needed to accelerate our growth.”

Sokoloski has nearly three decades of medical device and life science manufacturing leadership expertise spanning operations, engineering, supply chain, and continuous improvement. Most recently, he was vice president of operations at ECA Medical, leading production, supply chain, engineering, and facilities across three locations. Prior to ECA Medical, he held leadership roles at Freudenberg Medical, including vice president and general manager of two global business units. He also spent more than a decade at Covidien (now part of Medtronic), leading manufacturing operations and operational excellence programs.

“Joining Forj Medical is an exciting opportunity to help build this world-class, vertically integrated organization at a pivotal moment for the company,” said Sokoloski. “Forj Medical has exceptional technical depth and a strong customer mission. I’m looking forward to working with teams across our sites to harmonize systems and culture, quality and delivery, and continue to optimize our capabilities to support customers bringing life-changing devices to market.”

Sokoloski holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a B.S. in Mathematics and Natural Sciences from St. Andrews College. He is certified in Lean, Six Sigma, OSHA safety, and supply chain management.
